How long does a Spray Tan last?

This is slightly different for everyone, but around 7 days.

The more you exfoliate in advance, the softer your skin will be, which will help increase the longevity of your Spray Tan! Pay close attention to elbows, knees, hands and feet, as these areas can be the most prone to dry skin.

The more you sweat, wash, swim etc, the quicker your tan will fade. But don’t let that stop you booking a spa-day or holiday tan; you’ll feel so much better the first time you step into your cosi with your faux-glow!

✨✨✨

Hands, feet and face do tend to fade faster, but because we use the very BEST tanning products and we Spray Tan very naturally, the fade is often so gradual that you won't even notice.

Slight patchiness around day 5 can occur with any Spray Tan. It's the small price we pay for a flawless short-term glow. You can easily exfoliate these areas when they occur (I like to use in-shower glove/mitts to do this). Our clients often comment on how naturally our tans fade, so don't worry about the tan wearing off too much as the feeling of your tan for the first 5 days will faaar outweigh the process of it fading (we guarantee you'll want to book in for another one in the event of an upcoming special occasion!)

Using an oil-free moisturiser can drastically increase the time that your tan will last. Since using the Bondi Sands moisturiser (available to pick up from your @cambridgespraytan therapist for just £10), my own tans have lasted around 2 weeks! The bottle is a huge 500ml and the coconut scent is absolutely divine - we highly recommend investing in one of these to help your tan stay flawless for longer. Start using it the day after you have had your Spray Tan, and then use daily.

✨✨✨

*Please do not apply moisturiser BEFORE your Spray Tan appointment - skin must be clean from all products, including deodorant, make-up, sweat and perfume *

I hope this helps! Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
