COURSE FAQ’S
HOW MUCH IS THE LASHBOSS COURSE?
Both the Classic Lash Course and the Volume Lash Course are £350.00 (group) or £450.00 (private). This includes a starter kit worth over £100, discount codes for top brands and my ongoing support.
The deposit is £100.00 and as soon as this is paid you can join the Facebook group and begin your lash journey! You can book online here.
The rest of the course fee is payable on the day of your practical training.
WHA'T’S INCLUDED IN THE STARTER KIT? WILL I HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE?
I am always updating my starter kits to make them the best possible starting point for you!
Your starter kit includes:
- 1 x premium lash glue
- 1 x lash removal gel
- 2 x mixed trays of lashes
- 3 x tweezers
- 1 x medical tape
- Under eye patches
- Lash wands
- Micropore tape
This starter kit is worth over £100 and as a Lashboss Course student you will have access to exclusive discount codes with the top lash brands that I trust and recommend.
You will, however, have to invest at least an additional £50 - £100 to get fully set up to provide a professional-level service. This is on a beauty bed, lighting and extra supplies (all outlined in the Facebook group).
I WANT TO LEARN LASHES BUT WHERE CAN I OFFER LASHES IF I DON’T HAVE A SPARE ROOM?!
When I first started out, I used to practice from my bedroom on friends and family.
I have also worked on commission in a salon environment, which is a great way to get additional mentoring and find new clients. Lashes are in high demand, so this skill is highly desirable within salons. Salon spaces are also available to rent for around £60 per day/£30 half a day.
I have also had a lash bed in my living room and worked as a mobile lash tech, so there are lots of options! As long as you make the space safe, clean, tidy and comfortable, clients will be very happy wherever you work :)
WHAT ARE THE COURSE DATES AND TIMES?
The Lashboss Course practical element takes place at my home lash studio from 10.30am – 6pm.
On the booking site, you will only be able to book a course on a Thursday. If this is really not an option for you, please contact me with your availability and I will do my best to find you another day.
DO I NEED TO BRING A MODEL ON THE TRAINING DAY?
Yes - you will need to arrange a model who can arrive for 2.15pm. They will need to stay until 5.45pm. It's important that they can be with us for the full duration of this time so that we have plenty of time to take lots of high quality photos for your portfolio!
If you are not from Cambridgeshire, I can provide a model for you.
IS THERE ANY ONGOING SUPPORT AFTER I HAVE QUALIFIED?
Absolutely! Check out what my student’s say here.
It’s my goal to make sure no student of mine struggles as much as I did in beginning. I make sure my students know that they need to practice as much as possible, but they can reach out to me at any stage in their lash career for support and guidance.
I have a really enjoyable lash business and it’s my goal that they do also! I have 9 years experience in the beauty industry, so there is no problem we cannot solve!
